The consultant team will be on-hand to discuss the planning options that are being shaped by the week-long charrette process. Come and go as you please to browse the exhibits posted throughout the space and learn where the process is heading.

Valet parking will be provided on Seaview Avenue.

A charrette is a fancy term for a group working session or pinup design review. The word comes from the French word for cart. Upon the deadline to finish a final project, French architecture schools would pass around a cart on which students would place their projects. This term is still widely used in the design community for pinup design review sessions and has made its way into city planning lexicon.

The Open House is one of several events taking place during “Designing Our Palm Beach” Week, starting Monday, February 27, 2023 and continuing through Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Town of Palm Beach Mandel Recreation Center.
