Sean Suder, Esq., LEED AP
Since 2014, ZoneCo Founder and Lead Principal Sean Suder has led, managed, or worked on zoning code projects for more than 35 communities across 20 states and counting.
Sean served as Chief Counsel of Land Use and Planning for the City of Cincinnati where he represented the municipal corporation and its officials in all planning, land use, zoning, historic preservation and building matters; including serving as lead counsel for the award-winning Cincinnati Form-Based Code and Historic Preservation Ordinance.

Joseph Helferty
ZoneCo Senior Consultant Joseph Helferty is passionate about the intersection of zoning, planning, and urban design. He is an urban planning and design professional with over a decade of experience in both the public and private sectors. His work includes urban design, graphic, design, urban planning, zoning, and coastal resiliency. In addition to managing projects, Joseph is ZoneCo’s Director of Urban Design and Coastal Resiliency.

Joe Nickol, AICP, LEED AP
Joe Nickol, Principal and Director of Design + Development for YARD & Company, has 15 years of experience in urban design, architecture, and development. He has directed projects for public and private clients in over 25 states and 7 countries, ranging from targeted popup initiatives to billion-dollar developments of city districts and neighborhoods.
